The Girls and Womens Chin Moko Temporary Tattoos are perfect for kapa haka performances, Nation Days, and other important cultural events.
Choose from a strip of 4 girls (preschool and primary school age) chin tattoos, or a strip of 2 high school girls or womens tattoos. (If you are not sure which one to buy, check the measurements given next).
The girls tattoo measures approximately 2.5cm x 3cm (1" x 1 /4").
The older girls/womens tattoo measures approximately 2.8cm x 4cm (1 1/8" x 1 5/8").
In the womens tattoos, if you order one strip you will receive either one of 2 different strips of 2 tattoos. The strips of girls tattoo are all the same.
The tattoos were designed by a Nga Puhi tattoo artist.
How to apply:
Make sure the skin is clean and dry. Cleaning with rubbing alcohol gives the best finish. Remove clear sheet. Stick kirituhi down firmly on the skin. Hold a wet sponge on the back of the temporary tattoo for 30 seconds, ensuring all backing paper is wet. Slide off backing. When you are all done, remove the tattoo with alcohol and remove residue with baby oil. A former All Black rugby player told me shaving cream is good for this too.
