Seattle street legend Steve Machuga produced pegs under the Today Forward name in the early 2000s. I remember reading in an interview at the time that he wished he'd named it something else. I always thought it was a pretty cool name and a pretty cool logo.
In the Seattle area, Machuga's pegs were said to grind harder and faster than even the heat-treated pegs from Animal and Kink. I was told on more than one occasion that they were made of "bearing metal."
Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Machuga was from Erie, PA, which explains how he got a part in Ty Stuyvesant's really good video Transylvania. I think the pegs were produced at the family machine shop there.
